At Reigate Dance Studio we teach Vinyassa Yoga based around the Ashtanga series, and we also teach weekly Pregnancy Yoga classes too.
Lucy trained as a Yoga Teacher on a month-long intensive course in Thailand where she was taught and trained by the prestigious ‘It’s Yoga Satellite’ Teacher Training team and took part in an additional 100 hours of Pregnancy Training at Yoga Mama in London. Vinyassa Yoga is a lovely fluid class combining light movement, stretching and strengthening and always finishing with relaxation. Yoga is a great way to exercise, especially for those wanting a calmer alternative to Aerobic or dance-related fitness. Yoga is also an excellent class for those with injuries, aching or tight muscles and for those who suffer with anxiety, stress and sleep problems.
Towards the end of our Yoga class we really encourage deep relaxation, after our physical practice. We spend 10-15 minutes teaching mindfulness and meditation through basic breathing exercises and methods. This is a lovely way to completely let go of daily stresses and allow yourselves some much needed time to switch off.
Our Yoga class suits all ages and abilities (minimum age 16). We will be able to give you suitable modifications if you wish to take the class easier, or likewise give you more challenging options if you wish to push yourself. We also provide Yoga mats, blocks and straps free of charge and have a fantastic lighting system which allows us to dim the lights during the relaxation part of the class which really adds to the atmosphere of Yoga.
We offer half-price Trial class if you’d like to come and try it. To book your Trial class please email us directly – firstname.lastname@example.org or just turn up to a class of your choice.

Our Pregnancy Yoga classes offer a wonderful chance for expectant women to take some time out, connect with their pregnancy, exercise gently and safely, and prepare for labour and birth through breathing, pelvic floor work and positioning. We put a lot of emphasis on relaxation during these classes and want you to feel indulged and looked after as soon as you come in the room. We use music, oils and blankets to create a lovely and calm atmopshere, and work on releasing stress and focusing on the amazing journey of pregnancy.
All participants are welcome to come along from 7.00pm, before the class starts at 7.20pm, to meet others, socialise and relax.
Wednesdays, 7.20pm – 8.20pm
£40.00 for 4, £12.00 to drop-in.
